G. Thomas HarperG. Thomas Harper, a partner with Harper Gerlach PL, has practiced since 1973 in labor and employment law. He is Board Certified by the Florida Bar in Labor and Employment Law. Mr. Harper represents a diverse group of companies in a broad range of employment and labor issues. He counsels clients concerning the FMLA, the ADA, the ADEA, and sexual harassment. He has defense litigation experience in a wide variety and number of cases, including numerous jury and non-jury trials before federal and state courts and administrative agencies. Tom has also served as an expert witness on employment law issues in federal court in Florida. He has been involved in over 200 union-organizing attempts, union elections, decertifications, contract negotiations, and strikes. He presents seminars for clients and employer associations on all aspects of labor and employment law and conducts supervisor training on such diverse topics as National Labor Relations Act compliance, sexual harassment, ADA, and FMLA. Tom Harper is both a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court Mediator and a Board Certified Labor and Employment lawyer. This combination, together with his experience, makes him uniquely qualified to mediate employment related disputes. He is also an Approved Mediator for all Florida Circuit Courts and for the U.S. District Courts for the Middle and Northern Districts of Florida and has attended and participated in approximately 100 employment-related mediations.

Lisa BergLisa Berg is a Shareholder in Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A.'s Labor and Employment Law Department. Ms. Berg provides advice and counseling to employers of all sizes to minimize risk of labor and employment litigation. Ms. Berg exclusively represents management in labor and employment matters, and has experience in a diverse group of industries, including healthcare, pharmaceutical, airline, manufacturing, automobile, legal, housing, construction, arts, professional sports, propane, banking, real estate, financial, hospitality, and retail.

Andrew RodmanAndrew Rodman is a Shareholder in Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A.'s Labor and Employment Department and also serves as a member of the Firm's Board of Directors. He represents and advises clients on a broad range of labor and employment related matters under state and federal law. In particular, Mr. Rodman's practice focuses on employment law discrimination and harassment, whistleblower and retaliation litigation, overtime and wage and hour litigation, non-compete and trade secret litigation, and employment law counseling on issues such as hiring, discipline, reduction in force and termination, leave and time-off issues, accommodation issues, and drafting of employee handbooks and employment contracts.
