2022 Recruiting Virtual Master Class: Convince Your Boss to Utilize Storytelling and Video Across the Talent Acquisition Journey - On-Demand
Available ON-DEMAND
Program Length: 1.5 Hours
Jobs happen in motion, so why do we communicate the tasks, organizational culture, work environment, and skills required through a boring, text‐based job posting? Videos can show jobseekers exactly what the role entails, and yet, we're stuck using strategies from the past—whether that's due to budget, lack of people resources, you name it—recruiters must adapt and keep up if they want to attract today's modern candidate.
You've probably heard of "employer branding" and "storytelling," but what do they mean with relation to the recruitment process? And how can we "brand" ourselves, or tell our story, with the limited resources and tools available? What can you actually do about your organization's brand? Here's a hint: show it.
Once you understand the importance of using video instead of text for job ads, the next, more important question becomes: How do you build the case for recruitment video in our organization? If these questions keep you up at night, join Elena Valentine from Skill Scout Films on May 24, 2022 as she provides a crash course in getting key stakeholders onboard with using visual job postings at your organization.
In this interactive and engaging event, you’ll:
- Identify why storytelling and visuals are key to attracting talent (through da-ta!),
- Understand the types of content that resonate with your prospective candidates,
- Gain insight into how companies are leveraging video across the candidate spectrum,
- Prepare the relevant data and case studies you need to convince your boss,
- And more!
