WEBINAR SNAPSHOT: A two-hour, interactive, online learning experience designed to equip leaders with the key approaches and skills necessary to successfully lead a remote team.

This blended learning experience which combines a two-hour interactive, virtual workshop with an eight-week micro elearning program, has been designed to equip leaders with the key approaches and skills necessary to successfully lead a remote team. While working remotely is rapidly becoming the norm, this new reality presents challenges for leaders who are used to working face-to-face with their teams and colleagues. In order to ensure high levels of engagement, alignment and productivity, leaders will need to be more intentional about the way they lead. For the past two decades, working with many of the world’s most respected global companies, Bluepoint has developed a powerful approach to leading remote teams. While most currently available training programs advise managers to just adapt traditional organizational practices to their virtual team, Bluepoint presents a fresh, highly-focused approach to Leading the Remote Team.

The two-hour virtual workshop uses the Adobe Connect platform to maximize interactivity and individual learning. In this session, participants will learn how they can significantly increase their personal effectiveness by focusing on four leadership dimensions: Community, Communication, Collaboration and Coaching.

The eight-week micro e-learning program will help participants continue their learning with a series of brief podcasts, activities, quizzes, and assignments that are designed to be completed in five minutes or less. These are intended to refresh and deepen their understanding of concepts from the virtual workshop, reflect on their current leadership practices, and implement new behaviors in their day-today work.

Leading the Remote Team is not just a set of typical managerial practices and procedures that have been modified for leaders who are managing remote teams. It is a distinctive leadership system—a way of setting one’s personal priorities and daily agendas in a way that has a lasting impact on the remote team.
