In 2012, a few common – and preventable – workplace safety violations tripped up employers over and over: OSHA issued:

    • Best practices for safety self-audits that can keep you out of OSHA’s spotlight
    • What to do if you get that dreaded “knock at the door” from an OSHA inspector
    • Why OSHA is taking a closer look at heat stress and fall prevention – and what this means for you
    • Your obligations under stricter injury and illness reporting obligations
    • New rules for confined spaces at construction sites
    • The key third parties – including NGOs and industry groups – that will be involved in advancing particular safety agendas in 2013
