ALERT: President Trump has issued a memorandum instructing federal agencies to freeze any and all pending regulations, except for those related to national security. This means that as many as 30 pending Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations are now under a “Regulatory Freeze Pending Review,” and the effective dates are temporarily delayed until March 21, 2017. Among these delayed regulations are the high-profile renewable fuel standard and the emissions standards for wood manufacturers. The exact future of these pending EPA regulations and future ones is still unclear.
What does this mean for the future of emissions standards, air quality, and overall climate change policies and regulations?
Join us on April 19 to find out. Seasoned environmental attorney Rudy Perrino will discuss regulatory changes you can expect from the new Trump Administration and the practical impact those developments could have on your business.
- How to recognize key distinctions among environmental policy, regulations, and law, including key areas such as water quality, air quality and hazardous waste regulation
- The impacts of reduced federal regulatory oversight and stewardship on industry and the environment
