EPA's New Refrigerant Regulations: The End-User’s Game Plan for Cost-Effective Ways to Meet New Compliance Requirements - On-Demand

Webinar is now available on-demand.

WEBINAR SNAPSHOT: Learn cost-effective refrigerant management practices for meeting new EPA regulatory requirements before the upcoming compliance deadlines.

The EPA has updated existing requirements for managing refrigerants. The revised regulations include a number of requirements for organizations, including required updated practices related to recordkeeping, reporting, inspections, leak detection and repair, equipment retrofit and retirement plans, technician certification, and the sale and purchase of refrigerants.

The changes to the refrigerant regulations are significant, and will be phased-in over several years. The initial changes went into effect earlier in 2017, and additional changes will take effect in 2018 and 2019, which means now is the time for end-users to evaluate their existing programs and policies and prepare to avoid costly fines down the road.

Learn more with this on-demand webinar with environmental consultant Greg Haunschild, PE, who specializes in refrigerant management strategy for the air-conditioning and refrigeration sectors. He’ll explain what changes are on the horizon for end-users, their options for ensuring regulatory compliance, and which areas they should focus on first.

You’ll learn:

  • The timeline for implementation of the new refrigerant regulations for 2017, 2018, 2019, and beyond
  • The impact the rule changes will have on refrigerant end-users
  • How refrigerant management is defined and why it’s important to understand who’s covered under the definition
